BakerRisk consultants work closely with clients to identify and understand their explosion hazards, predict the effects of explosions such as blast loads and fragment generation, and devise prevention, mitigation, or protection strategies. We have conducted numerous experimental and numerical studies in order to refine and validate our methods and have applied these methods on projects ranging from LNG facility siting studies to the design of blast resistant structures and investigation of accidental explosions. BakerRisk has developed proprietary computer models for explosion and blast analysis. Through a joint industry cooperative, our engineers carry out large-scale vapor cloud explosion tests and continuously update and refine our blast methodology, which is proprietary to BakerRisk.
