Flammable and Toxic Consequence Modeling
BakerRisk's consequence modeling allows quantification of the potential outcomes of an accidental release of a toxic or flammable material. This modeling could include:
- The width, height and shape of a dispersing toxic vapor cloud
- The downwind distance to a toxic endpoint, such as ERPG or IDLH values
- The distance the cloud will travel and be within the flammability limits
- The distance to hazardous levels of heat radiation from jet fires and pool fires
By simulating accident scenarios, BakerRisk's consequence modeling allows for:
- Emergency response planning
- Regulatory compliance, such as modeling a Worst Case Scenario for RMP
- Risk Analysis and comparison of mitigation measures
BakerRisk's SafeSite
3G™ software contains an integrated set of consequence analysis models for evaluating the consequences of explosions, fires and acute toxic releases. BakerRisk's consultants have used SafeSite
3G™ for studies around the world.
