BakerRisk has experience in providing engineering and research support for world-class onshore and offshore LNG projects around the world. Our consultants have provided both qualitative and quantitative loss prevention support on grass-roots LNG liquefaction plants and LNG regasification/storage terminals. We have also conducted quantitative risk assessments of LNG assets and LNG marine transportation in several locations.

BakerRisk's experimental research facilities perform tests of explosions from vapor clouds interacting with congested structure. We have prepared an experimental plan for full-scale LNG spills to evaluate unexplored facets of LNG risk, including:
- Finding the evaporation flux of a burning LNG pool on water
- Evaluating the effects of a high-explosive attack on a double-hulled LNG vessel
- Evaluating the potential for knock-on effects from LNG and water filling the double-hull interspace after a breech of the inner hull
