October 2008 opening in the Chicago area for a mid level CAD Operator with 3+ years of Structural CAD & design experience. Successful candidate will have experience detailing reinforced concrete & steel structures. Experience with process equipment is desirable. Technical degree, AutoCAD 3D and/or Micro Station preferred. Tasks include preparing design drawings, report illustrations & other activities that support engineering projects. Must be able to prepare drawing bid packages with little supervision. Experience in multidisciplinary design teams is highly desirable. Technical Illustrator skills a plus. Must have excellent verbal communication skills.
