Immediate full-time position available for an intermediate level structural engineer in our Los Angeles office, located near LAX. The successful candidate should have a BS in Civil/Structural Engineering (MS or PhD preferred) with a minimum of two years direct experience. Candidate should possess knowledge of analysis and design of protective structures to resist the effects of blast and fragment/debris impact loading. Technical work involves dynamic structural analysis and design, experimental testing, and numerical analysis. Candidate must demonstrate effective marketing abilities, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Professional Engineering registration is strongly desired. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as effective public speaking and presentation skills. Some travel will be required. An initial three-week training period in the San Antonio corporate office will be required after hire.
