Shock tube design patent

BakerRisk is pleased to announce the July 20, 2004 award of patent no. 6,763,696 for a shock tube design developed under a Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) contract for the U.S. Government. The shock tube design included developing unique features of the BakerRisk shock tube to shape the blast wave to closely match the profile of blast sources ranging from high explosives to vapor cloud explosions, and to allow rapid adjustment of the blast load between tests.
