BakerRisk Presents Papers at ASME’s PVP Conference

BakerRisk proudly participated in the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) 2017 Pressure Vessels and Piping Industry Conference (PVP) held in Waikoloa, Hawaii from July 16-20th, 2017.

Matthew Edel, Senior Principal Engineer of BakerRisk’s Structural team presented the paper “Pressure Vessel and Piping Hazard Analysis Methods Comparison”, which he co-authored with Donald Ketchum and Oscar Rodriguez of BakerRisk’s Blast Effects team.

Jihui Geng, Senior Principal Scientist for BakerRisk’s Blast Effects team, presented the papers titled “Evaluation of Blast Loads from Pipe Ruptures” and “Blast Wall Shielding Effectiveness”, which he co-authored with BakerRisk Vice President, Dr. James Kelly Thomas.
