| Course Description | This course acquaints practicing engineers with procedures used in the analysis, design, and retrofit of structures subjected to loads from accidental, industrial, and terrorist explosions. The course content relies heavily on UFC 3-340-02, Structures to Resist the Effects of Accidental Explosions (2008) and the recently revised ASCE publication, Design of BlastResistant-Buildings in Petrochemical Facilities, as well as on BakerRisk’s own extensive experience in this field.The course lectures are continually updated and interlaced with numerous examples for direct application of the design principles discussed. |
