Consequence and Risk Analysis
BakerRisk has fine tuned the process of consequence and risk analysis. We are utilizing a two-step approach by first conducting a facility siting study to identify what the worst case consequences of the chosen flammable, toxic and explosive scenarios are for onsite and offsite personnel, and then utilizing probabilities to determine the likelihood of the consequences.
BakerRisk has conducted several hundred Facility Siting Studies and QRAs for many of process units worldwide as well as studies for some of the worlds’ largest LNG and chemical processing complexes, with the help of our own proprietary software and methodologies.
Our expertise in consequence and risk assessments ranges from simple modeling for screening approaches to highly detailed numerical analysis, such as FEA and CFD, to occupant vulnerability modeling and building blast design modeling.
