Blast Resistant Analysis and Design
Mr. Polcyn is Manager of the Protective Structures Section, and has over 30 years of experience in the analysis and design of a wide variety of structures subjected to blast or impulsive loads from accidental explosions and security threats. He has designed several explosives handling facilities to ensure that pertinent Quantity-Distance siting requirements are met and working bays and operational buildings are properly designed to protect workers. Mr. Polcyn regularly works with clients to develop economical structural solutions for facilities required to provide occupant protection from blast and related hazards.
