Unreinforced masonry and concrete block buildings are common at industrial facilities. The BakerRisk approach to upgrade these types of buildings requires minimal construction work from the interior of the building, allowing the building to remain occupied and functional during construction. For this upgrade, concrete posts were installed along the building perimeter to provide
strength and stiffness to the existing walls.
