Military Aspects of Blast and Shock (MABS) conference featuring BakerRisk presentations

This year’s Military Aspects of Blast and Shock (MABS) international conference will be held in the historic city of The Hague, Netherlands, at The Hague Marriott Hotel. This conference supports collaboration between scientists, engineers, consultants, and other experts who wish to share unclassified research related to blast and shock waves. Two papers authored by BakerRisk experts will be featured at this year’s conference, both to be presented by Senior Principal Engineer, David Bogosian.

The first paper, titled “Design of a new test fixture for characterization of near-field blast effects,” will support the “Measurement and Signal” session on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 scheduled from 9:10 AM – 10:30 AM.

The second paper, titled “Effect of Magazine Geometry and Loading Density on Blast Loads from Earth-Covered Magazines,” will be presented during the “Protection measures – Urban Safety” session scheduled from 8:30 AM – 10:30 AM.
