Our Work

Energy Efficiency, Decarbonization, and Operational Excellence in Egypt

Training Programs

These trainings are designed to enhance energy efficiency, decarbonization, and operational excellence. Our programs equip energy professionals with the skills needed to lead in a fast-evolving industry.

Training Tracks & Level

  • Energy Efficiency: Master energy optimization, audits, and real-time monitoring.
  • Decarbonization: Reduce carbon footprint, adopt low-carbon technologies, and implement Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage.
  • Operational Excellence: Streamline processes, enhance safety, and use smart simulation technology.

Each track follows a structured, three-level approach:

  • Fundamental: Build a strong foundation.
  • Challenge: Advance with in-depth strategies.
  • Professional: Achieve mastery with industry-leading tools.

Why Choose Our Programs?

  • Expert Led Training: Learn from industry pioneers.
  • Flexible Learning: In-person & virtual options.
  • Hands On Experience: Real world case studies & simulations.

Software

Egyptian Natural Gas Company (GASCO) in partnership with BakerRisk are delivering novel software to enhance energy efficiency, decarbonization, and operational excellence.

The software is powered by Eigen’s Ingenuity 7 platform to create fully customizable dashboards with secure connection to source data, integrated data with context, trends, sparklines, widgets, tables, text, images, icons and other visual elements for energy analytics, decarbonization insights, operational excellence to equip energy professionals with the engineering insights needed to lead in a fast-evolving industry.

All software is ISO 9001 and 27001 certified to keep your data secure.

Hydrogen: Analyzing the Hazards

In previous articles in this series, BakerRisk discussed the hydrogen economy and high-level hazards. Additionally, best practices and general guidance for performing a PHA on hydrogen processing facilities to accurately assess all the risks and consequences associated with hydrogen were also covered. This article will focus on the materials and potential damage mechanisms and hazards associated with the operation of equipment exposed to hydrogen, including pressure vessels, pipelines, piping, and other equipment handling hydrogen.

Hydrogen Detection

Hydrogen has been used in petroleum refining, fertilizer production, chemical synthesis and many more applications for centuries. Throughout hydrogen’s use, releases have resulted in numerous explosion and fire incidents. Hydrogen is becoming more prevalent as a low carbon energy solution since it can be used both as an energy carrier as well as a replacement for raw materials. As hydrogen is adopted across more industries and applications, continued emphasis on preventing release and escalation is essential.
