We are pleased to announce that BakerRisk has been honored at the inaugural Robert Zalosh Hydrogen Safety Excellence Awards by the AIChE – American Institute of Chemical Engineers‘ Center for Hydrogen Safety (CHS). The award recognizes individuals, organizations, and projects for their outstanding contributions to help influence better safety practices within the hydrogen industry. Peter Diakow, CFEI, and Kelly Thomas, Ph.D., CFEI, accepted the award on behalf of BakerRisk at today’s luncheon during the 2025 Spring Meeting and 21st Global Congress on Process Safety in Dallas, Texas.
CHS honored BakerRisk with the Organization Award, commending its Hydrogen Safety and Testing Group for their efforts in assisting clients to develop the production and infrastructure necessary to operate hydrogen safely and efficiently.
This recognition was made possible by our Hydrogen Safety and Testing Group. Created in 2020, the group’s objective is to address climatic changes by assisting companies in the energy sector to develop a highly-effective framework in order to build and operate secure facilities managing low-carbon energy sources. The team is currently developing multiple hydrogen testing programs to better assist facility owners and operators in maintaining safer hydrogen processes, signifying our commitment to deliver optimal solutions to high-hazard industries.
