Safety Moment – Flange Failures
BakerRisk has developed a new safety moment concerning flange leaks. Loosening and tightening bolts on flanges is a routine occurrence at most plants, but it is one that needs to be done correctly to prevent a loss of containment. Leaving even one bolt loose on a flange can have serious impacts. The safety moment is a short (2.5 minute) video that demonstrates the need to follow procedures for flange work and inspection every time to prevent a loss of containment.
